Over the past days, Imma Roca i Cortรฉs, Ambassador of the European Union in The Gambia, and her team from the EU Delegation in The Gambia travelled across the country to assess the state of implementation of projects and engage with communities, local authorities and partners involved in EU-supported actions.

The tour offered a valuable opportunity to see first-hand the state of play of EU projects and how the partnership between the European Union and The Gambia is contributing to stronger public services, more opportunities for communities and tangible improvements in peopleโ€™s lives.

For the Ambassador, being on the ground matters: listening, learning and engaging directly with those driving and benefiting from this work is essential to a strong and reliable partnership.

The EU remains proud to stand with The Gambia in support of sustainable development, good governance and opportunities for all.
