The Chief of Defence Staff Major General Ousman Gomez, has called for deeper peace and security cooperation between The Gambia and Senegal, saying the two sister nations share more than just borders.
Speaking during an interface with security officers from both countries at Kerr Ayib boarder post, as part of his tour, Gomez applauded the positive collaboration between the two sister forces and urged them to maintain it.
The CDS stressed that joint efforts are critical to maintaining regional peace and ensuring smooth movement of people and goods. The tour continues.
