Zelenskyy says dozens more injured as strikes leave thousands without electricity in Odesa region
There is an interesting back story to today’s meeting of EU defence ministers in Wicklow, with the Irish Times reporting that a British warship and a helicopter designed to hunt submarines have been deployed off the coast of Ireland, just outside Irish territorial waters, in a bid to keep the meeting secure.
The move was needed as the Irish Defence Forces lack the capability to conduct long-range air defence operations, the Irish Times said.
