Foni Bintang Karanai Sports Committee gets One hundred and Sixty Dalasis surplus in 2026

During the Annual General Meeting of the Foni Bintang karanai District Football Committee held on July 26, 2026 at the Sibanor CCF ground, a surplus of D160,152 was recorded. Committee President Bakary Tamba presented the activity report, highlighting their achievements, which included adding 3 female representatives to the executive, improving financial accountability through E-tickets contract with Hamdan Khashiran, and providing capacity building training to over 38 team officials and executives.
However, Mr. Tamba also addressed the challenges that were faced during the year, including financial constraints, infrastructure deficit, low participation in capacity building programs, insufficient human resources, and poor timekeeping.
The Treasurer, Modou Jorbateh, presented the financial report, revealing a total income of D1,196,270 and total expenditure of D1,036,118. This resulted in a surplus of D160,152, which sparked discussions among delegates. Some expressed concerns over the spending on the knockout competition, specifically the D37,575 used for preparations for the final, D30,560 for the final day, and D26,990 for the replayed final.
After extensive discussions, both reports were ultimately adopted by the delegates. The success of the Annual General Meeting was a result of the hard work and dedication of all involved, including President Tamba and Treasurer Jorbateh.
