19th session General Assembly and 50th anniversary of MOWCA kicks off in Banjul

 

The Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa ( MOWCA) 19 th Ordinary Session and 50th anniversary was opened in Banjul this morning. Twenty countries are currently taking part and more will join in the next two days according to the Secretary General. He said the forum aim is to examine and formulate the documents for smooth maritime administration in West and Central Africa..

Representing the Honorable minister of Transport, Mr Samba Mballow Permanent Secretary said the meeting represents not only national commitment but regional maritime as our shared destiny
