The Gambia Youth Chamber of Commerce (GYCC), a leading platform for young entrepreneurs in The Gambia, launched the second edition of the National Tabaski Wanterr Trade Fair 2.0, slated for May 16 to June 6, 2025, at Independence Stadium.
The theme, “Youth in Trade Innovation for a Brighter Future,” highlights the crucial role that young entrepreneurs play in driving economic growth and development in The Gambia. By fostering innovation and promoting entrepreneurship among youth, the GYCC aims to empower the next generation of business leaders and contribute to a more prosperous future for the nation.
The fair aims to host 200 shops this year, providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services to a wider audience. The stall price for this year’s fair is D5,500, an increase from last year’s price of D4,200. The event will have a gate fee of 25 dalasis.
The GYCC is spearheading the entire event but is open to partnerships with any institution interested in supporting the initiative.
Entrepreneurs interested in participating in the trade fair are encouraged to register at Supersonic locations across the region.
