In line with its commitment to giving back to the community, the Bell Bottling Company started its annual Ramadan Gift distribution yesterday in the neighborhoods of Kombo East.
Dozens of bags of sugar, along with drinks and water, were delivered to villages. The beneficiaries of this initiative include village heads, imams, mosques, and women’s groups.
While accepting the donation, the chief of Kombo East, Bakary Sanyang, praised the company’s generous gesture as exemplary and encouraged others to follow their lead.
Alkali Malaine Touray from Pirang Berending and his imam, Mustapha Jassey, also commended the initiative, stating that the gifts arrived at a timely moment.
On Tuesday, the Ramadan gift distribution reached the communities of Bonto Koto, Bonto Kuta, Pirang, and Faraba, and it is expected to continue today.
Since its inception a few years ago, Bell Bottling Company has pledged to contribute to the development of its local community through initiatives such as Ramadan gifts and annual football tournaments as part of its community donations.
