Independent Electoral Commission Holds Handing Over Ceremony for Refurbished Kanifing Office

 

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) recently marked a significant milestone with the official handing over ceremony of its newly refurbished office in Kanifing. The event, which took place on 3th February 2025 was attended by key stakeholders, including government officials, IEC members, and representatives from various civic organizations.

The refurbishment of the Kanifing office is part of the IEC’s ongoing efforts to improve its infrastructure and better serve the Gambian electorate. During the ceremony, the Chairman of the IEC, Alieu Omar Njie, expressed gratitude for the successful completion of the renovation project.
