On receiving the delegation, MinisterJobe thanked the members of the association for the visit and commended them for their responsibility as a community and for recognizing the role of the Ministry.
He assured them that the Ministry, through the National Centre for Arts and Culture (NCAC), will support them through guidance, organization, and any other financial resources that the Ministry may have.
He further states that it is the responsibility of the ministry to listen to any inquiries to help and support all Gambians from all sorts of backgrounds.
“NCAC, as an institution that deals with culture, will be informed to get on board and guide the association directly through the Ministry from a policy point of view. The Foni Wrestling Association will also be considered to be part of any wrestling sporting event coordinated by the NCAC,” Minister Jobe assured.
