ARE THERE SIGNALS THAT SOME FARMERS ARE STILL OWED BY SECCOS IN URR?

The minister of finance has informed the National Assembly that not a single farmer is owed after delivery of their crops to the seccos. In a recent investigation Foroyaa has been informed by the managers of some seccos in URR that they are unable to pay some farmers after delivery of their nuts to the seccos.

Foroyaa had contacted the National Food Security Processing and Marketing Corporation (formerly GGC) for comment up to the time of going to press, but no comment was forthcoming. Foroyaa will deepen its investigation to come up with the truth in good faith in the public interest.
