Maahad Senior Secondary School successfully hosted the 23rd edition of their annual inter-house athletics competition on 23rd January 2025. The event, which showcased incredible talent and sportsmanship, served as a precursor to the regional athletics qualifiers set to take place from 30th January to 2nd February 2025.
The competition witnessed fierce rivalry among the houses, culminating in an exciting final tally of points. Red House secured 4th position with 197 points, followed by Green House in 3rd with 242 points. Blue House claimed the runner-up spot with 248 points, while Yellow House emerged as the new champions with an impressive 279 points.
Congratulations to Yellow House for their remarkable performance and well-deserved victory!
The event also celebrated individual brilliance, with Sirreh Sanneh of Green House being named Female Athlete of the Year and Saikuba Barrow of Yellow House taking home the Male Athlete of the Year title.
