The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE), in collaboration with education partners and stakeholders, today commenced a week-long Coordinating Committee Meeting (CCM) at the Farafenni Senior Secondary School-Hall, North Bank Region.

The high-level convergence, scheduled to run from Monday, May 26th, to Friday, 30th May, 2025, serves as an important platform for strengthening accountability and ensure improved monitoring on education service delivery across the Basic and Secondary Education Sector.

Welcoming CCM members to another bi-monthly rotational multi-sectorial convergence, the Hon. Minister, Dr. Habbibatou Drammeh recognised the importance of CCM as an integral player in strengthening accountability and improving quality education service delivery across all levels.

Also in attendance, was the Governor of North Bank Region, Mr. Lamin Saidykhan who hailed MoBSE for the positive strides towards improving access to quality education in his region and for initiating such an important multi-sectorial convergence.

In the coming days, CCM members will engage in intensive discussions, review progress, make decisions and debate on critical issues affecting the education sector.
