Social media activist, Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has called on the management of Zenith Bank to investigate the account of his recently launched NGO as the donations he solicited for has reached a whopping N170 million.
VDM, as he is also called, said he decided to raise the alarm after getting an alert of a massive donation of N100 million into the NGO account from an anonymous donor, bringing the total contributions to N170 million.
According to the influencer, the unexpected deposit has led to suspicions about whether someone might be attempting to frame him up for financial misconduct, such as money laundering.
In a video he posted on X on Thursday, Verydarkman said the humongous donation from a single source has left him unsettled and is seeking advice from the public.

“Please Nigerians, come and help me. Someone sent me N100 million into my NGO account. Hope someone is not trying to set me up. I now have N170 million inside my NGO account,” he said.
Going further, he called on Zenith Bank to investigate the source of the money to clear his name for fraud-related transactions.
“@zenithbankplc please investigate my NGO account, I don’t know what is going on, hope im not being set up…. I AM NOT INTO MONEY LAUNDERING I DO NOT DO FRAUD (FOR THE RECORD). Nigerians bare me witness I don’t know what’s up with the account.”
