Sanwo-Olu extends work-from-home policy for another 3 months in Lagos

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo–Olu, has extended the work-from-home policy for the state’s civil servants for another three months.

The state’s Head of Service, Bode Agoro, disclosed this in a circular on Wednesday.

The governor on February 28 ordered the workers to work from home in a bid to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal by the Federal Government.

He directed that workers on grade levels 01 to 14 to work from home for two days a week, while those on grade levels 15 to 17 were to work from home for one day.

The latest circular, according to Agoro, was aimed at reducing the effects of the removal of fuel subsidy on the workers.

The extension took effect on September 4.
