As the Nawettan Zones in the West Coast Region gear up for the annual zonal competition, the Coastal Road Sports Development Association (COSDA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Sainey Badjie as head coach of its zonal team.
“COSDA officially appointed Sainey Badjie, fondly known as ‘Cesc,’ as head coach of the zone for the upcoming West Coast Zonal Championship, effective Tuesday, October 21, 2025,” the committee confirmed.
Badjie, who has been working with the team for the past two years, brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the team, which the committee says will be crucial in helping COSDA pursue its first-ever Zonal trophy.
Mr. Badjie holds a D coaching license and has demonstrated his commitment to developing football at all levels. As head coach of Sardinka F.C., he guided the team to win both the Knockout Trophy and the Super Cup Trophy at Sinchu-Alagie.
The committee expressed confidence that under Badjie’s leadership, COSDA’s team will be well-prepared and competitive for the upcoming West Coast Zonal Championship.
