Authorities in the Central River Region are investigating a suspected murder that took place on Tuesday at Kerr Macca Janneh Village.
According to a police report, the incident occurred during an altercation between two men while harvesting groundnuts on a local farm. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim, who was immediately rushed to the Njau Health Centre, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody and is cooperating with ongoing investigations. No further details have been released as the case continues to unfold.
