Iheanacho targets more goals for Sevilla

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his desire to net more goals more goals for La Liga club Sevilla.

Having struggled to find the net since his arrival to the Spanish giants in the summer transfer, Iheanacho finally opened his goal account.

The Nigeria international bagged a brace for the Rojiblancos in their 3-0 Copa del Rey victory over Las Rozas on Wednesday night.

In a chat with the club website, Iheanacho said: “Hopefully, there are more goals to come, and hopefully, Sevilla will be in the top six of La Liga by the end of the season.”

Sevilla will host Real Sociedad in a LaLiga clash on Sunday, and Iheanacho hopes to be fielded.

“I will be really happy to play in our stadium again,” he added.

“We have amazing fans, and they always support the team no matter what. Hopefully, I get a chance to play there, and hopefully, they will come out, support the team, and we win the game.”
