Argentina Sanchaba FC have sealed qualification to the round of 16 of the Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC) Summer Nawettan League after an emphatic 3-0 win over Senior Players on Sunday at the Gunjur Nema Football Field.
After a goalless first half, Argentina Sanchaba came back stronger in the second period, opening the scoring early before adding two more to seal a dominant victory. The result maintains their perfect start to the campaign, having now won both of their opening matches.
In the day’s earlier fixture, Pasamai FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Santos. Pasamai took an early lead but failed to preserve their advantage as Santos fought back to share the points. Pasamai have now drawn both of their opening matches, while Santos have recorded one draw and one defeat.
Elsewhere, Power Dynamos FC became the first team to qualify for the knockout stage after defeating Black and White FA in their final group match earlier in the week.
