PDP is dead with Wike in it, Adeyanju blasts party over alleged expulsion of Ugochinyere

Human rights lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju, has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as a dead party waiting for its funeral following the purported expulsion of the House of Representatives member from Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituency of Imo State, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere.

Adeyanju who reacted to the alleged expulsion of Ugochinyere by his ward over anti-party activities, wondered why Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike has not been dismissed from the party over his open anti-party activities over the years.

The Ideato LGA chapter of PDP had, on December 5, in a letter signed by the Chairman, Hon. ThankGod Okeke, and the Secretary, Onyebuchi Umeh, expelled Ugochinyere who is also
the spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), over alleged gross indiscipline, insubordination, and anti-party activities.

Though the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party swiftly reversed the expulsion of the rep member, Adeyanju, in a post on his X handle on Saturday, described the action as a joke taken too far.

Describing Ugochinyere as a courageous man, Adeyanju wrote:

“Ikenga Ugochinyere, the courageous one, has been expelled for anti-party by APC moles who are in charge of PDP, but Wike is still a member of the PDP.

“The jokes write themselves daily. The PDP is a dead party awaiting funeral rites.”
