The Secretary General and party leader for the People’s Alliance Party (PAP), Ebrima Tabora Manneh, has stressed that The Gambia is at a defining moment that needs a leadership that embodies trust.
In an interview with The Voice on Monday, Mr. Manneh states that Gambians are yearning for a leadership that is responsible, honest, and visionary, stating that the People’s Alliance Party (PAP) embodies those noble characteristics and qualities that inspire trust, unity, and lasting national progress.
He outlines that if his party is elected, they will not only serve as rulers but as servants of the people guided by a principle that is strengthened by faith, and driven by the hope of a better Gambia for all.
Mr. Manneh recognizes that governance is a sacred duty of trust placed in the hands of those chosen by the people, pointing out that true leadership means accountability, discipline, and the courage to make decisions that serve the common good.
“Integrity is our greatest strength. In an era when corruption and self-interest have weakened public confidence, I believe PAP stands firm on the principles of truth, justice, and transparency. We will make sure that our words are measured, sincerely in our actions, and make promises that are grounded in reality,” he emphasizes.
The PAP leader maintains that real development begins with investment in people through education, agriculture, healthcare, security, and youth empowerment. He promises: “I am committed to creating jobs, strengthening the economy, and ensuring that no region or citizen is left behind. My leadership focuses on practical solutions, innovation, and sustainable national growth.”
He said that with his leadership, The Gambia will surely move forward towards a future of stability, prosperity, and shared purpose.
