University Press, Red Star Express, Omatek Ventures emerge as stocks to watch this week

The Nigerian equities market enjoyed a massive profit-making trading week last week, raking in a massive N1.711 trillion profit for investors in five days.

The market recorded gains in three trading sessions, losses in two trading sessions as the market capitalisation increased to N70.463 trillion from the N68.752 trillion recorded the previous week while the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 2.49% to close the week at 111,742.01 points from the 109,028.62 points recorded the previous week.

The bullish run was propelled by strong showing from stocks like University Press Plc (UPL), Red Star Express Plc (REDSTAREX) and Omatek Ventures Plc (OMATEK) to secure their places amongst the top ten best-performing stocks last week, positioning themselves as stocks to watch in the new week.
